Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

So our trip yesterday was great fun. No bears, but plenty of warning signs about bears. We found out the hard way on our first hike that my knee is not healed from its bout with gravity last week and that walking up an incline is still pretty painful. So most of our trip was spent driving and stopping at overlooks to take it all in. Here's a few pics:

We didn't see a lot of wildlife, except for a doe with 2 fawns...

But there were plenty of butterflies!

We ate a late lunch at a restaurant at Peaks of Otter. Food was OK, and I had a delicious strawberry lemonade there. No food pics, but this was the view from our table:

You know my mild obsession with eagles always has me watching the skies. I spied this guy, who flew like an eagle, but lacked the white markings, which makes me think it was a juvenile bald eagle testing his wings. Whatever it was, it was cool to watch it soaring,

We're not going out tonight, because hubs and I are stuffed after today's mid-afternoon, Maine lobster fest! I took a picture of our feast (that came with 2 plates of French fries, and 2 bowls of homemade cole slaw). I even had a sangria -- very sweet and fruity. :hungry: (Oh, note how hubs couldn't wait one moment for the food picture session--he started ripping apart his lobbie, just as soon as his plate landed on the table!) :D

For dessert, I plowed into the wild blueberry cobbler and ice cream, but managed to hold off for a few seconds to take a picture, before it disappeared! :joyfull:

Then, WILD Blueberry Cobbler!! (It's the "wild" advertising that appeals to me!) :p

After the meal, we strolled around Kittery Trading Post (a large store of all kinds of outdoor gear and clothing, as well as bikes, camping, fishing and hunting equipment, and lots more. I love a store like that because it's different. It's also tempting to buy stuff you don't need, but WANT.

So I bought a t-shirt with all kinds of bear facts on it (@Batman , you'd like it!) Hubs wanted a $2,000 fat tire bike--(nope, he didn't get it!) Said he was going to buy a MA lottery ticket ($433 million mega jackpot) and if he wins, he's buying it! :hilarious:

Looks like a filling meal! Hope you two are having fun!

No Nemo14, 'cause I shared my trip in a piece meal fashion on the Chit Chat Forum. Whenever I was at a WiFi spot I would share details and a bunch of photos. For the nice folks on this forum I happily mention that my family of three went on Royal Caribbean's Radiance of the Seas. It was a 7 day cruise that sailed June 29th. We stopped at Ketchikan, Juneau, Hoonah Village, Skagway and ended at Seward.

I am having some wifi issues this morning. I tried to edit my previous post but could not.
Anyway @Nemo14 , thank you for YOUR trip report:) I'll try to post a couple more photos if the wifi will cooperate.

The internet here is slower than slow, so I'll have to limit what I post, and I'm not sure how that first photo appeared - lol.
Anyway, here's a few shots from Otter Lake and a waterfall just after that:

@Nemo14 .....under your posts it says "missing unkadug". It's probably cute humor? I don't get it o_O
