Got up early this morning and headed straight down to Flamingo again.
Did some kayaking around the marina area, and into part of the Buttonwood Canal which flows into Flamingo.

Only saw one crocodile pop up briefly, and no manatees. It was very HOT and humid today, with hardly any breeze unlike on Monday's visit.

I had originally planned on kayaking for several hours, but only lasted a little over one hour. It's just too hot today. Even the croc that I saw stayed at the surface for just under a minute before submerging again into the cool water. He/ she was like: "
Forget this, and adieu to you." It was still nice and peaceful out on the water, but not something I'd recommend this time of year in south Fla without
PLENTY of water.
Now back at the motel to cool off, change clothes, and head down to the Keys for the remainder of the day.
Edit: And don't make the same mistake I did, and only bring
one 16 oz. bottle of water with you when you plan on kayaking in the Fla sun during the month of June.
