My favorite eagles songs are Learn to Be Still and The Last Resort, but I'm a fan of just about every song they've ever done.

Sad day in the JenniferS household.
On Friday, I called to make arrangements to have the vet come to the house to put our beloved puppy down today. It was her half birthday today - born November 1, 2002.
I have been bawling my eyes out for days, but now that it’s done, I feel a bit better. She was such a good pup and I will miss her desperately. But for holidays, she has shared our bed every night for 15 1/2 years.
The vet assured me that the timing was perfect. We hadn’t waited too long; nor had we jumped the gun. Go figure, she jumped up on the couch all by herself today for the first time in weeks. Sigh.

The build of that song is something I physically feel while listening to it. Just such amazing songwriters and performers.
Little things like that are the hardest. And the thing is, you never stop thinking things like that. It just becomes less frequent, and you don't cry when you think it. But it's always better to remember than forget.Every time we leave the house, we always tell Holly, “Okay pup, you’re in charge”.
We went to the grocery store about an hour ago, and as we’re locking the door, I say to Mike, “Now that Holly’s gone, who’s in charge?”
His answer. “Stitchie.”
He went on to say that he had this exact same conversation with Holly yesterday.
Man, this sucks! I think we’re going to go for a walk in a bit. I’d best be bringing a bunch of tissues.
I’ve been on an Eagles kick since Saturday. You can say that again. Haven't listened to that song for a few years . . . and then when I did tonight. it kinda took my breath away.
Very well put.Little things like that are the hardest. And the thing is, you never stop thinking things like that. It just becomes less frequent, and you don't cry when you think it. But it's always better to remember than forget.

Isn't it funny how we get on a run of things like that? It seems every week I have a new song/artist I'm in love with. You always have your top 1 or 2, but I still go on streaks of different songs. For example, right now I'm big on that song I posted earlier (This is Me from The Greatest Showman). So good. Better live than the studio version.I’ve been on an Eagles kick since Saturday.

I prefer Hotel California, Heartache Tonight, Life in the Fast Lane, and The Long Run myself.
Then there’s solo stuff like Life’s Been Good, Rocky Mountain Way, and Dirty Laundry. Those are good, too. You can't really go wrong with anything from those guys!
Thank you. I sent your mom a message thanking her for all her help. I wouldn’t have been able to make this difficult decision without her guidance. So sorry about Holly, @JenniferS. It's always so hard to lose a pet. They really are part of the family. I truly do believe you'll see her again.
I’m not an Eagles fan, but I like a lot of their individual solo stuff. Mike and I were just talking about this two nights ago in the hot tub. Then there’s solo stuff like Life’s Been Good, Rocky Mountain Way, and Dirty Laundry.
My mom loves The Boys of Summer.
I'd say my top three are Hotel California, Take It to the Limit and Peaceful Easy Feeling.
