Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

The Seinfeld writers must like Don's songs....

ELAINE: What are you doing? That's Witchy Woman. That could be our song.
BRETT: Witchy Woman is okay for you, but I've already got a song.
ELAINE: Oh. Oh, then how about Desperado? (smiling) We can share it.
BRETT: No. It's mine.
That episode is so funny. Her facial expressions while the guy is in the Desperado zone are just priceless.

My favorites are either Take it to the Limit, Peaceful Easy Feeling or Already Gone. Love the Eagles. Whether or not you like their music, they're one of the most across the board talented bunch of guys to form a band in the history of bands. Too bad they all knew it.

Tequila Sunrise is probably my favorite Glenn Frey song.

That's a good one too.

I remember listening to Howard Stern once and they were discussing country music and he said he hated it - except The Eagles - and said even the worst Eagles song is better than the "best" country music song.

My favorite eagles songs are Learn to Be Still and The Last Resort, but I'm a fan of just about every song they've ever done.
My parents used to play it in the car when we drove to Florida. As a kid I was always confused as to what "Lion Eyes" were and why she couldn't hide them.

The Eagles, John Denver, Linda Ronstadt, Juice Newton, Willie Nelson, Simon & Garfunkel and Barry Manilow. Good stuff.

ETA: Forgot The Four Seasons.

Sad day in the JenniferS household.

On Friday, I called to make arrangements to have the vet come to the house to put our beloved puppy down today. It was her half birthday today - born November 1, 2002.

I have been bawling my eyes out for days, but now that it’s done, I feel a bit better. She was such a good pup and I will miss her desperately. But for holidays, she has shared our bed every night for 15 1/2 years.

The vet assured me that the timing was perfect. We hadn’t waited too long; nor had we jumped the gun. Go figure, she jumped up on the couch all by herself today for the first time in weeks. Sigh.

Never an easy day. It's entirely unfair that humans outlive their pets.

Oh no!!! I'm so sorry! She looks like a sweetie. What breed was she? She looks so much like my dog when I was growing up. Would it help you to tell us about her? Or would that be too hard yet?

So sorry, Jennifer. It's so hard to lose a pet. She's such an adorable dog.

I'm so sorry. It is always so painful to lose our little friends.
