Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

So, we went to see a financial planner type guy yesterday. Basically, for a grand, he told me that I was worth more dead than alive.:hilarious: That is all.
That's the sad thing about having life insurance.... it almost always makes you worth more dead then alive. That's why I don't have any. I don't have anyone in my life that I want to live better and do things that I can't afford to do now after I have left for the big theme park in the sky.

:hilarious:

Can they just relocate that entire attraction about 400 - 500 miles further east?

Isn't the VA one in Greyson Highlands, where the wild ponies are?
Yes it is! We didn't make it to the summit of Mt. Rogers when we visited Grayson a couple years ago, but got pretty close before it started getting dark. You'd love that area!

We finally had a warmish day today so we went to Jamestown to see the ospreys and for DH to play with his new camera. He tried out a lot of different settings, some with better results than others, but it was fun anyway. Here's a few that I took.

The first pair of ospreys flew off just as I was turning the camera on, so here's my one and only picture of one of them:

We went to a couple of state parks there that are old forts right on the water and hiked a couple of trails there. Nothing too exciting, but pretty...

We ended our adventures at a park I've avoided for many years, due to some bad memories. It was really pretty today though, and I'm really glad we went.

So it was nice to see the sun, even though it was just for a day - supposed to get extremely cold tonight with sleet and possibly icy roads in the morning. :in pain:

Beautiful! Great clarity / zoom on his new camera.

This family is cooler than yours.

I like how the woman holding the baby is singing as the baby is tugging on her hair. And the guy on the far left looks like he just ate some combo of Mexican and Chinese food.

My family used to sing in the car, or around the piano, but then, there were only 3 of us, including mom, and this was beyond our scope at 12/13 years old. So yeah, they are much cooler than we were. I married a tone deaf Dutchie who can't carry a tune in a bushel basket, and DS seems to take after him. So I'm afraid this will never be my family.
