Full House is still great. Fuller House is pretty... bad, but I've still watched all the episode.

Agreed. I still love the original series, but the remake isn't great. I DO find it amusing how they call out the twins every so often for not being part of it. What's up with DJ's voice though? She always sounds forced, like she's just getting over losing her voice and has to shout to be heard. She didn't have that when she was younger.

Interesting. Reminds me of a few times when TV Guide (weekly magazine on newsstands--not the one in your local Sunday newspapers), used to have a few different covers for some very specific TV event. Can't recall if other magazines also did that, but kinda fun concept. I know that collectors scooped up these multiple cover issues.

Today is one year since my dad passed away. Steak and ice cream on the menu tonight. Good excuse for any of you people who eat meat to indulge in a delicious steak...no one needs to know you didn't know him.

My sister and I went out for ice cream on my mom's birthday the year after she passed. It seemed appropriate (and tasty) since she loved her ice cream.

Yep....we gave everyone the opportunity to tell stories at my dad's funeral...the reoccurring theme was his love of ice cream. How he brought ice cream whenever someone invited him to dinner, how he ate ice cream BEFORE his meal, to make sure he had room for it, how he once brought ice cream to a picnic in the middle of July with no way to keep it cold...most of these things were told to us before the funeral, so the minister suggested having ice cream after the service so everyone could have ice cream with Dale one last time. Something really special. So that's why we're having ice cream...last week would have been his 85th birthday, so we had milkshakes. I still miss him every day.
