Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Do any of you have a fitness tracker you love? I'm looking for a new one, and when I bought this one, (I named it "the cracker" because the store person I asked didn't understand it the first three times I said "fitness tracker" and sent me to the aisle with crackers) it was just a cheap one that a grocery store had on feature sale. It worked well at first, but it's over a year old now and it keeps losing time and it doesn't track everything. It only does steps and it calculates distance by how many steps it registers, but it's not registering stuff like, when I ride my bike for an hour to pick up DS from school, it's not registering all my steps at work....the other day, I had over 5 hours of exercise and it registered less than an hour of movement. So I need a new one and I'm open to suggestions.

Sorry, I’m not much help. I don’t believe in exercise. 😂

Truthfully though, I use a FitBit and the Health App on my iPhone. I know they both record steps fairly accurately, but I have no idea about biking, or other forms of exercise.

Well, I can't say I believe in exercise either, but I get enough of it in my daily life that I'd like to track it anyway. My job is mostly walking from one end of a warehouse to another, pushing a cart. LOTS of walking. And with DS's new school being a half hour away by bike, I get an hour of biking in each day just by picking him up for school. So....yay? I just want something reliable so I can see how much I'm actually moving each day.

I have a FitBit Charge HR. I use it for exercise (cardio, weight & interval training) as well as running when it's warmer out. It tracks steps, heart rate & reminds you to get up and move. It also shows texts as they come in and alerts you when a call is coming in. I've had it a few years and I am quite happy with it - although I have had to contact them a few times for a replacement band because I keep breaking them at the connection point. I think it's the way I pull the band to put it on. FitBit's customer service department is awesome and they have replaced the bands free and also sent me a temporary orange one when they were out of stock in black.

Fitbit Charge HR for me. I’m pretty hard on them. I’ve had 2 previous Fitbits and a Garmin.

Still alternating between high fever and chills to the bone. I've been through probably 6 pairs of jammies in the past 2 days because I've sweat so much.

I'm pretty sure it's the flu. I'm sure I'll be doing better in a day or 2.

Do what's best for you. My only concern is that this year's flu is a bit more extreme than in most past years. If you don't get considerably better in another 1-2 days, maybe bite the bullet and pay the doctor a visit.

Also, as an fyi (in case you didn't know this), Tamiflu works a bit better if you take it in the early stages of the illness. People who have taken it have given it high marks for lessening symptoms, and shortening the duration of the flu. Get well soon.
