My sister and I went to Selby Gardens in Sarasota this morning. It was really just beautiful. The first place we went to there was a room filled with orchids of all colors and shapes:

But my favorite part was a display of really cool masks that are hand carved and painted by some Costan Rican artists. They are so detailed and so colorful - it was hard to pick a favorite, but here are a few:

I like the tree with the sprawling roots.

My sister is quite an avid bird watcher so she took me this morning to an Audubon place in Sarasota. I couldn't tell you all the names, but here's a few of the ones we saw today.

Me. I don’t like Oreo guts. I sure as heck don’t want twice the amount. :hungover:

I love Oreo guts--best part of the cookie!

Nice birdie photos--my favorite is the red cardinal, followed by the (4th from the bottom photo) blue colored bird with the dark green wings--very pretty.

On a completely unrelated topic, I had a nightmare last night. I was at some ice cream place in WDW, and I wanted ice cream. The CM behind the counter recognized me from the day before, and told me she would not serve me ice cream today, as I already had ice cream yesterday. She moved to another part of the counter, and I followed her, trying to get her attention, to change her mind. All I wanted was ice cream. She ignored me. Then I woke up--traumatized. :hilarious:
