Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I’ve already shared this - I saw each of the original trilogy Star Wars in the theatre (or drive-in). Once.
My memory of many things contained therein is not good.

Watching TLJ by myself last night, I became aware of a lot of things I’ve never noticed before. (After 32 years, I guess I still find Mike to be a distraction. 😂)

Anyway, long story short, I couldn’t help noticing that Yoda sounds just like Grover! Turns out, there’s a really good reason for that.:hilarious:

Tomorrow I’m going to Wookiepedia all the films, and make notes. Too bad Weird Al only made The Saga Begins. Truth is, I need a musical rehash of episodes 2-6 as well. I’ve got 7 and 8 covered.

Last rambling thought - they have a name for people like me. I am a Reylo ‘shipper. I so want this to be true:

So a few eagle pictures from today.
The first one is from a little road just southeast of Gainesville. I saw him flying overhead, and then he swooped down to some roadkill and took off to a nearby tree, We pulled over to the side of the road, and a few minutes later saw him flying right back towards us.

The rest of these are from a nest here that we visited often in the past. As we pulled into the spot we generally view them from, I saw the male flying away, but we pulled over anyway because I wanted to get a picture of the female who was perched in a tree across the street:

As I stood there, the male came back with food, and flew right over my head:

He brought food apparently for babies in the nest. Couldn't see the babies yet but I'll be watching for them.

That last picture of the eagle in the nest is absolutely amazing--what a close-up!

Very cool! One of our family friends was some sort of Eagle expert...I was really little, so I don't remember a lot, but I know he did a presentation at my elementary school once, and eagles are SOOOOO huge. Very impressive birds!

Is it bed time yet? We had the first of 3 open houses for high schools today and I am pooped. I don't expect DD to change her mind about which school she wants to go to next year, but it was kind of fun to go anyway. One next Saturday, and one Feb. 3rd and then we're finally done. Once she gets her official advice, we can sign her up. Yay!

I just re-read my 2016 live trip report. Gosh that was fun.

I was looking for a specific picture to show up a certain DA in N&R. I found the pic BTW, but it wasn’t clear enough to prove my point. 🙁

I was getting likes from you, so I knew something must have been up.

Went to the grocery store to buy milk. As I was grabbing it out of their fridge, i dropped it. It busted open and milk went everywhere.
When I worked at Kmart, we threw the expired milk in the dumpsters out back. Sometimes we literally threw them, and they would bust open. One time it was me, another hardlines worker, and our supervisor (the fun one) outside, and our manager was going by on the forklift and shouted, "Don't throw those!" The other hardlines worker threw it, missed the dumpster, and the spoiled milk splattered everywhere outside the dumpster. It was hilarious for the supervisor and myself, but it smelled so bad back there for days.

Our town won't take electronics with garbage pickup - you have to take it to the town dump for recycling. I brought a bunch of ancient stereo equipment and a few computers to be recycled and they directed me to a giant storage trailer with bins in it and said to place the equipment in any bin where it would fit. I didn't place them - I made basketball shots from about 10 feet away. There was something so fun and satisfying about throwing things and watching them bust apart a bit when they landed.

I liked taking expired carbonated beverages, shaking them up, and throwing them as hard as I could into the dumpsters. We also were required (literally) to destroy any recalled items, so I got to take a sledgehammer to treadmills, bikes and tables. Good times.

You need to make sure that you make an entry in today's Dairy diary. I certainly hope you didn't cry over it especially since you have been warned a million times that isn't something to do over spilt milk.
