I've been on a cleaning binge today, working on the crawl spaces upstairs. I can't believe the c r a p we've saved over the years. If we ever try to sell this house, it will take years to clean it out.

I am not a hoarder, but Hubby is.

I just went and bought a bunch of storage bins and suggested he clear a path through his mess before the new cleaning lady starts on Wednesday.

I chuck everything. The other three, not so much.
For a sentimental person, I’m pretty good at being selective as to what carp I save.

The basement is DH's stuff, for the most part. The upstairs I take a lot of blame for - things I saved from the kid's childhood, thinking they'd want their kids to have them eventually. WRONG!

I did give them each some stuff when the babies were born, and I'm currently dividing up the books they had as kids , and those will go to them at Christmas or January. eventually we'll get our house back....
