Found a yummy recipe online for anyone else, who also cares to indulge in this fall/winter treat! I recall that my mother used to "plus" it, by serving it warmed up, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

If I had to guess... once again the political correctness brigade has taken something that had no bad meaning at all and turned it into something offensive. Apple Brown Betty was how I always knew it. Apple and Brown all are descriptive. However, where the hell did Betty get involved. Do we even know who Betty was/is/might have been.

Ummm no. Why do you think it’s free?

Just spent $20 at the Dollar Tree on things for my classroom, mainly bins and storage containers. They have an amazing selection of those kinds of things. And they look good in a classroom!
