As I was walking into DHS the theme to The Towering Inferno, my all time favorite disaster movie, was playing. I love that movie and its 70s awesomeness.

My sister buys into all of that Starbucks lingo. I was telling her I just order small, medium and large. So she tells me that "venti" means 20 in Italian so that's a 20 ounce. My response? What number is "tall" in Italian?

We needed rain but now it won't stop raining.


Tonight at church we had a beautiful choral concert.


They didn't perform any tonight but my pastor has written several hymns with television and film composer Jeff Lippencott. I can't wait for their latest collection of hymns to be released on ITunes.

I see they have an Orangery instead of a Conservatory. Either way I'd stay away from that room. Especially if there are any lead pipes or candlesticks lying around.

He was the best, 'I'm only doing this to be silly' and for the money (mostly for the money). It was always meant to be a super hero spoof on TV. (Holy Crap, Batman) Michael Keaton was the best of the 'I'm trying to be serious' genre.
