So I may have screwed up but maybe not - need opinions:

Staying at YC. Made my ADRs well before I bought the Halloween party tix. Realized yesterday I have a 5pm dinner at Cape May the night of the party. Initial thought was to switch it with Kona to be closer to MK on party night but Cape May has no other availability that week. It's my daughter's favorite so I can't just skip it. Then I was thinking a 5pm buffet is not bad since we will be out of there within an hour and will most likely be at MK right around 7. We are really going for the Halloween stuff so don't need to be there at 4. I'm going to keep checking back but I'm not going to stress. Thoughts?

You'll probably hate my response, but here goes. Maybe consider doing just a quick service dinner meal (no reservations, no ADRs) either at one of the hotels in your (Yacht Club) area, or over in the MK prior to the Halloween party? I'm thinking it might be a bit less stressful than trying to run for a reservation someplace, when you have the party immediately afterwards--and of course, the big crowds there for that.

I actually considered that - but her favorite restaurant is Cape May so I want to see if I can move it to another night then either leave Friday ADR free or something closer to or in MK or have a late lunch and a QS at the party (with mobile ordering).

I have been a life long Philadelphia sports fan. Man! that is frustrating! Last season I adopted the Blue Jays...'cause I went to one of their games. Yet really, I am a Phillies fan who now never follows them because year after year they stink.
Hopefully the NFL Phila. Eagles will be good this fall.
A true Philthy Fan follows the teams even if they Stink!!!! you are no longer aloud to come in our stately fan club house

A baseball game ....IF it does NOT go to extra innings...it can be as short as 2 hrs 15 minutes or as long as 3 hours.....always varies of course.
The groundwork I'm layin' is:
Why would I want to devote approx. 2 1/2 hours of my life on any given night...when I figure my team will lose? AND, even if they do happen to win, it does not really matter...'cause....most of the other nights they lost and they are already buried deep in last place.

I'm powerwashing the fence. I consider that fun. I think there's a slight possibility I need to get out more.
