Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

It was our 24th anniversary yesterday, so Mike and I went out for dinner. Each of the two first restaurants we went to were closed in observance of Victoria Day. (If only there were a device one could use to ascertain if an establishment is open or not ....)
Anyway, we ended up at the Keg. I like the Keg, but I have a lot of memories of my parents there, so I'm not always in the mood for the Keg. :(

Also, I find it pricey for what it is.

Bread service. Sour dough with whipped butter:

We each ordered a "Keg Classic" meal, which includes salad. Caesar for both of us, of course, as Greek was not an option.

Greek > Caesar > all others.

Apps. I got the crab stuffed mushrooms, as per usual. It's mushrooms. It's crab. It's cheese. All my favourites!

Mike got deep fried rubber bands, just like always.

Prime rib. I don't eat this often. It used to be my most favourite "high end restaurant" meal. Right up until late December, 1996.
It was a little later in the evening (isn't it always?), so the prime rib was coming off half a tick more well done than I like. I only ate four bites, so no biggie.

(It was a tad more well done than the picture would indicate.)

Mike got the "baseball" something or other, which can only be cooked to medium rare. Too rare for me, but he liked it.

We declined dessert, choosing to go to DQ instead. Yeah, us and half the population of Brantford ... so I told him to keep driving.

I just ate the remaining 90% of my main meal minutes ago. It was flavourful, but the prime rib was not the best cut. Mike, of course, finished all of his meal last night.
Happy Anniversary! You deserve 2 cakes!

Looks like a good meal. Happy belated Anniversary!

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
So yay! I am going to Wasaga Beach tomorrow.
Unfortunately it is just for training for the Builder I am representing this weekend.

My partner and I are booked into a Hampton Inn and Suites in nearby Barrie for Saturday night. She's a blast, but I don't think I've ever shared a hotel room with a non-relative.

She's pretty high maintenance, but I can wash my face, brush my teeth, finger-comb my hair and apply mascara in less than five minutes, so I doubt bathroom time will be a problem. :hilarious:

Thank you. I used your Crystal Palace pics in my FB status yesterday. That's still one of the coolest things one of my Disney friends has ever done for me. <3

I want to say thanks but I think you might be giving me credit for something I might not have done. If it is pics inside the CP they aren't mine I haven't eaten inside for a long time.

I figure you guys are getting tired of my eagle posts, so I decided to just post a link here to my latest album and you can check them out if you're interested.

I liked them in the thread but it's nice having them all in one place!
Oh dear, who have I inadvertently offended?
I was quite sure you had done this.

Nope not me. I would have though if I could be at WDW for your anniversary. I can't remember who posted them either, I remember seeing them before though.
Well thank you, but now I've hurt someone's feelings.
It seemed the kind of thing either you or @MinnieM123 would do. Shall we page her and inquire if this was her handiwork?
I could also do a search in Chit Chat. May 22/2015, I believe. BRB
