Ugh, I have to be on the road by 6:15 am tomorrow. I should have been in bed an hour ago.

Instead, here I sit waiting for my hair to dry. Every other day my hair is dry in about an hour, but noooooo, not today. If only there were an appliance ... that blew hot air ... that dried one's hair. *sigh*

Who am I kidding? I'll just toss and turn for ages anyway. For some reason, I am not looking forward to tomorrow's placement. The market has turned. Seemingly overnight. And the buyers are hostile. I don't blame them.

We were off the hook from babysitting today (long story) so we went out to Culver's for a late lunch/early dinner this afternoon. We went back to one of the eagle nests we had seen the other day, but only one of the eaglets was visible.

So we headed down to the beach to watch the sunset. It was pretty windy there though so we didn't stay long.

So we went back by the nest and noticed that the eaglet had gotten brave enough to venture out of the nest and was sitting on a limb. It was pretty cool seeing him as the sun set,,,

The second one popped his head out to take a peek too...

Not all that pretty, but they're still an awesome sight!

Most presidents have been here. Reagan honeymooned here when we was an actor.

Clark Gable also honeymooned here with Carole Lombard.

They gave us this resort history book. Reading through it now. That's why I'm providing these facts. lol.

One last fun fact. So William Wrigley Jr of Wrigley's gum was the owner of the property for many years. He was the one who put in the pool in the above picture. It's called the Catalina pool because the tiles used in the pool were made on Wrigley's property on Catalina island.

There is something about the design of the swimming pool and the evening lights, that does give it that old Hollywood vibe (even if it's in Arizona--but that's just a technicality ).

The resort photos you've shared are very inviting.

Last day is today. Checkout tomorrow. It cooled off a lot today and clouds rolled in. From the 100s to the 70s. At the pool for just a bit although we have spent time in the hot tub instead.
