Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

To be fair, if you know the game, you can follow it.

In the back to back WS winning years, we use to pay for nosebleed seats in the outfield all the time. No food. No private washroom, nowhere near the home plate. I'm a fan. I want to be at the ballpark.

That being said, there are dozens of large screen tv's in the boxes, Buck and Pat are audible throughout, and the pictures I posted don't really set the scene.

Are Spring Training views better? Absolutely! But you're not seeing real MLB ball - you're watching a great big audition where the score doesn't really count.

Free box seats are free box seats. I will say "yes please", every single time. :)

As long as they're free along with the free food, you made the right decision!

I don't watch sports, but I have been to various other events like ice shows at our huge venue in Boston. Years ago, I got seats up in the nosebleed section and they weren't worth the price at all. We had these giant Jumbotrons up high so that we could see the skating close up on a screen, while the actual skaters below on the ice looked like tiny ants moving across the ice. I said to hubs at the time, why not just watch a show like this on TV at home--a screen is a screen. But, that's just my opinion.

As long as you and your wonderful hubby had a good time, that's all that matters!

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Today was a bit of a sad day for me. It was the last Sunday at my church before I leave. Some people from church took me out to eat after, and I had great time with them. I'm really going to miss my church family.
You've got new exciting times ahead of you Eric, and a new church family just waiting to take you under their wing. :)

I was looking through some old photos from my first trip to Walt Disney World in 2002.

My love of Walt Disney goes back a long ways. I miss being able to watch him on television every night.

Thanks, I'm sure you're right. I've already told some people from church to let me know if they're in Orlando, and a few of them do plan on going.

And yes, I do wear contacts. I have glasses but I usually only wear them at night.

If that's you in the pictures something doesn't add up. You said that they're from 2002 and that you watched Walt on TV...

What?

From 1997 until the Fall of 2002 the Disney Channel used to have a programming block called Vault Disney that would play every night. Vault Disney consisted of classic disney shows like Zorror, The Mickey Mouse Club, and Disneyland/The Wonderful World of Color.

I feel privileged to have been a kid growing up in the 70's. Sunday afternoons after church, were filled with Tarzan, Sinbad, and Godzilla. Sunday evenings were Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, Wait 'till Your Father Gets Home, and The Wonderful World of Colour.

Life was good!

If only they would release Disneyland and World of Color on Blu-ray or DVD. It seems like an obvious thing to do. I know I'd be willing to pay a lot of money to watch episodes I haven't seen in years or at all.

And no doubt, they are really going to miss you, too.

I admire your plans--it takes guts to move away like that, in pursuit of better opportunities on the horizon.
