Yesterday the Post reported that the Police said the Cleveland Facebook killer's phone pinged in Erie Pennsylvania. Then about an hour later they reported that the guy had turned off his phone making it harder for police to track him down. Ummm...maybe you shouldn't have reported that they were tracking him through his cell phone!!

I've already shared that food needs to be its proper colour in order for me to eat it.

I might eat the rainbow bagel, it seems fun. But it would depend on the flavor, I like more savory flavors on my bagels so if it was sweet I'd pass.

It looks like Play Doh. I've eaten enough Play Doh in my life.

Sweet and savoury can work together - case in point, sweet cream cheese filled pretzels. As long as they are the proper hue.

Tonight's penance for all that carp and carbs I ate yesterday.

Homemade flatbread pizza. 5-grain whole grain Flat Out with flax, sugar free pizza sauce, turkey pepperoni, and a generous sprinkling of sweet red onion. The cheese is regular mozzarella, because the low fat stuff doesn't melt and brown as nicely. Besides, it's not fat that makes you fat.



The rest of my "penance" is our thrice weekly four-mile walk. The pizza was delish, our walk is always a time to just chat (now that I'm not out of breath by the second block) ... so, not really "penance" at all.

A whole lot of hot flashing 50-something year old women asked for the thermostat to be turned down. Waaaaaay down.

It rained really hard with flash flooding. We got 2 inches of rain and they got 3 inches of rain overnight.
