So......I seem to have caught DH's "crippling" cold.

But I still managed to take down all the Christmas decorations including the tree......without complaining....

I haven't caught my husband's sickness, but I put away about 3/4 of the decorations while he slept on the couch. He offered to carry containers down to the basement but then stayed sleeping as I carried them downstairs.

Is January 1st, "National Wives Take Down Christmas Tree and Put Away Decorations Solo Day"? This morning, I took down the tree, swept up all the pine needles, and put all the decorations away in storage bins. And no, hubs does not have a cold. (But he did carry out the tree carcass--I'll give him that--ONLY . . . ;) )

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Anyone seen the movie, Sully? We watched it on DVD and it was excellent--what a story, and some very exciting, riveting scenes, too.
Hubby yelled at the tv throughout the whole movie. He did not care for the way Sully was treated by the NTSB and others.

There were a lot of "Are you freaking kidding mes?" coming from the family room.

January 1 is the default setting. If you don't change it, that's what you're stuck with. Usually happens to people who have had multiple FB accounts, or folks who set up FB but seldom use it.
Why???? What is the purpose of a default setting of an actual date. It makes no sense at all, but, then again there are many things about Facebook that don't make any sense including a billionaire 12 year old founder.
