When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Everyone has cancelled on me. They're all sick. They haven't even eaten my cooking yet.
I have 10 lbs of my special potatoes, homemade gravy, an 8 1/2 kg turkey, stuffing, veg, and all the fixings ... for three of us.
Pretty sure there will be lots of leftovers.

I actually cook a decent turkey (because I cheat and buy the pre-stuffed Butterball), so I know it's nothing against my cooking.
I'm on Day 10 of this wretched cold, so I know how they all feel.

That's what I was subtly trying to say to @JenniferS with tact and sensitivity, but, since you opened that door, you're probably right. She could pack up some meals in dry ice and ship them to us (sans germs). UPS should be able to deliver overnight.@JenniferS

Gen decided not to go back to school until tomorrow, so she joined us for dinner. Four around the Thanksgiving table is better than just three.
Plate #1 and done. With milk, of course.
I had food for ten, but only four diners, so I said to heck with the Pillsbury crescent rolls. I'll make them tomorrow to go with the leftovers.
