We were at one of Bobby Flay's restaurants once and were admiring the drink coasters and saying how our daughter would love them - the waiter must have overheard and came and gave us a stack of them.

When I stayed at Pop the far end of the bridge was blocked, and the view beyond was of abandoned decaying shells of buildings.

I figure someone here might know why they abandoned those buildings. I don't understand why they did that, because the "value" category of WDW resorts is very popular--at least I thought, anyway.

If I remember correctly, the economy had just tanked when they decided to abandon the construction. No sense in throwing good money after bad.

Thank you, and that makes sense. I didn't realize that it was just a construction project, and never actually completed. That's what confused me all along whenever I saw these pictures--I thought these buildings housed guests at one point, but were then shut down. You explanation makes much more sense.

I am really saddened by the death of Prince.

I feel like I have grown up listening to his music. His and Michael's, but between the two I always liked Prince better.
