Oh my. :hungry: I prefer 'em pan-seared, but, I'll eat the heck out of 'em this way, too...

Yep, I could devour them too, but I like the seared crust from pan too.

Oh, now you've gone and done it! There's drool all over the keyboard here, just dreaming of those 5-napkin, cheese, greaseburgers, and some french fries cooked in delicious transfat oil (I hated it when the food police banned transfat oils--you need it for a decent-tasting fry--fries haven't been the same since . . . oh, I sometimes pine for the treats of days gone by . . . :inlove: )

Dammit, you guys have done it!
Now I will have to go to Carl's JR this weekend to satisfy my needs of a Chicken burger :(

Three interviews next week!

Wooba, will be sending you some good Karma next week.

My DD has made it through the mega test, round one of interview and 2nd interview next week. The guy today said to her....I graduated from the University of Illinois too...she is thinking that connection got her to round one and round two.

This job stuff is so dang stressful.

Sounds like a typical dinner for me. A gourmet cook I am not. :)

I love to cook when I have adequate time. I baked pumpkin squares this week and they turned out pretty darn good but pastries of any kind are not my thing. My DD on the other hand can do sweets, she bakes some mean cookies. Her cranberry and white chocolate chip cookies are awesome.

So, one of the (many) ridiculous things that my dog does, is occasionally eat a piece of the mail. If an envelope is by the side of the table, he'll sneak over there and take it if we're not around. Then, later on, small bits of shredded envelopes and bills are strewn all over the floor. You should see the carnage.

Tonight, there was one of those unsolicited donation requests, and this one was from The Animal Rescue League. He mauled that one, too, and I scolded him, "You've turned on your own kind!! You should be ashamed of yourself!"

Ha! That a boy! He doesn't want a Sister.

My Pup before Walt liked to eat paper money. :cautious:

Between the two kids they went through 9 years of college. I think it is safe to say Ramen wasn't on the shopping list.
There are better brands of Ramen imho.
A premium brand might have the same sodium, but with better quality and added vitamins..etc..

Maruchan is definitively one of the most damaging brands.

I lived on that stuff. Ramen, McDonald's and this shady Chinese restaurant next to my apartment were pretty much all I ate in college. I'm not sure what was in the Chinese, but $3 got me at least 3 meals, so I didn't question.

My DS ate well in college apartment, Disney CP was rough, when I learned of that I started sending care packages and gift cards. My DD stayed in a dorm the entire time with a dining plan. UofI has some good food options.

My DD will eat Ramen when she is sick.

At least the extra hours bands were not expensive. I bought those a number of times, and they were well worth the price to hang out at MK, with much lighter crowds and ride all the big attractions with minimal waiting. I felt as though the cost (again, reasonable to begin with) really gave you a perk that had definite value.

Yes. And the party was also ultimately worth the $15 dollars too. But when we went to Disney when they were young we went for 2 weeks. We ate at mainly QS with a handful of TS over the vacation. For the most part we could feed the family for $100-$125 a day, snack, beverages. $60 dollars for party or bands started to fiddle with our cash on hand (travelers checks actually) back then. I can't imagine paying these prices for these events now. Ouch!

To get my CDL, I had to parallel Park a 42 foot bus. Got it first try. Then I went out for the full road test and didn't make it because I had accidentally exceeded the speed limit by 10 miles per hour in an area I wasn't familiar with and hadn't seen the limit sign. Had to take the road test again, but this time I didn't need to redo the parking part.

Yikes!

Our buses are not allowed to reverse even in lots. Everything is pull in, pull straight out.
