ahem, theI enjoyed it too.
Pays to be a credit watcher.
Cambridge's Push is a mutant! it has a human hand!
yeah, sounds like yours sons are a riot to be with. :|Didn't post much last night as I had my feelings genuinely hurt, my spirit somewhat crushed, by the A-holes who should be worshipping me.
Didn't want to talk about it, as I know where you all stand; and you've all got to be weary of my stories.
Today I was busy with my SIL/BFF.
We went and looked at a few realtor open houses; went to the butcher's, the farmer's market, and the grocery store; prepped everything for a lovely BBQ dinner; finished the guest/spare room; and changed the colour of her MagicBand from pink to orange.
It was lovely spending time with someone who genuinely loves and appreciates me.
My dad was always my biggest fan (God I miss him), then Hubby, then my mom, then two of my three brothers, then SIL.
Notice the two names not on that list?
did you by mistake enable the high contrast mode?As of an hour ago my laptop is now highlighting a few letters in random words in yellow. This whole page looks like it has yellow chickenpox. What the heck???
the forum now supports the "select with mouse to quote or reply" mode.------------One plus about staying home and watching from the deck is I got three ceramic santas painted, two of which are getting an antique look today, and he third is ready for top coat. Woohoo! Seven days and counting until my open house, I still doubt I'll be ready, but I'm getting there... Slowly!----
@Soarin' Over Pgh I copied part of your message ABOVE, and replied below. (I still can't figure out how to properly use the quote thingie--your quote is supposed to be in a beige background, but that didn't happen.) Anyway, I responded below--
Hey--what's this about an "open house"? Are we all invited?!![]()

Yes you are right. We had a lovely long Christmas vacation one year and that area was quite a memory maker.
By day it was still the full Backlot tour and by night the homes were the area of the Osborne Lights that moved through the NY Street and pretty much ended outside the Steamroller area with a nativity scene near the courtyard. It was nice that there was a gentle reminder of what Christmas was really about in the middle of all the magic of WDW.
My DS was only a toddler when he went through Catastrophe Cannon and already had this enormous fear of any form of fire so it was also filled with that learning curve for parents as it was a brand new park for us too and no forums to research and the tour books just outlined what was to be attractions vaguely. Good times back there on the lot.
When we rode the Backlot Tour, 'cause we knew it would go soon Walt's plane had 'Cars' eyeballs pasted on the front of the plane. I'm not sure why I took exception with that but it did rub me the wrong way. We took one last walk through the prop room too and the after museum. Way back the Backlot also had a show to demonstrate inside a warehouse how they used illusion in filming. We have pictures of my DH riding a bike on set during the show and my DS riding the bumble bee also during the show. Pretty much any connection to the park being a Studio is gone now and I'll miss that theming.
I totally forgot about that. Thanks!the forum now supports the "select with mouse to quote or reply" mode.
Just drag your mouse and fully select the text you want to quote or reply. It will create the quote for you.

@Soarin' Over Pgh Open House too. Open House here has multiple meanings so I was curious too but with all the skimm'n of posts I've been doing this week I was afraid I had missed something.
So yeah, whatcha doing?

Yes!! I'd be tickled pink if you showed up at my open house!
And in my context, my one house means literally that... I'm opening my house to friends and family to see my crafts and buy if they're interested. I'm having cookies and tea, coffee, and hot chocolate (because why not, right?) and I'm so excited! I've never had one before and I've been cleaning like a madwoman the whole weekend.
I'll post some new Santa photos later, after I get home...today is job interview day. I had a fantastic one his morning (pretty sure the job is mine) and another this afternoon, both with well respected, huge companies...hope one of them pans out!
