Someone on FB just asked to be my friend. I have no idea who it is, we have 1 mutual friend, she's one year older than me, and she went to school 30 minutes away from me. I hope I'm not supposed to know who this is.

That's another reason I HATE FaceBook.

The likes leader is supposed to have a lot of acolytes, right? I think you're supposed to start calling people "lifestylers" and, uh, other names too.

About nine months ago, I got a friend request from a guy. Had nine mutual friends, but there wasn't much else I could tell about him other than that he was from New Jersey and his profile picture had a great six pack. :brb: Anyway...I didn't recognize the name or the profile picture, so I denied the request.

Fast forward six months, and I start wondering what happened to this friend from middle and high school. I can't find her name on FB, which is strange because she was always into FB and nagging me to get one (my parents said no FB; I got it when I turned 18 and my dad could not tell me differently anymore). So I snoop around and find her mom's FB page, which she leaves completely unprotected. I find out that the guy I got the friend request for was really her. o_O So I managed to find out that she's now married and having her first child with her husband (her third total, keep in mind she is a year older than me but we were in the same grade) from her mom's page. Not friending that bunch of looney, though. I check into her mom's FB page every now and then. If she had messaged me (I accept messages from everyone) who she was, maybe I would have accepted. But now...nope.

It was me. It broke my heart when I noticed you had denied it.
