He's solid black with big brown eyes. He's a medium-sized dog (around 55 pounds), and he's a mix of Chow and Lab. We adopted him from an animal shelter about 5 years ago. At some point in the near future, I'll show you a picture (I just need some guidance as to how to attach it to a post, but DH will be able to tell me how to do that.) Actually they're both at the vet now, for his yearly check-up. (He hates the vet's office; he gets very grumpy and even spits out a dog biscuit if they try to give him one!)

And that is why God created traveling Vets that come to your house.

Someone on FB just asked to be my friend. I have no idea who it is, we have 1 mutual friend, she's one year older than me, and she went to school 30 minutes away from me. I hope I'm not supposed to know who this is.

So, it looks like Hubby's partner M. isn't going to make it through the weekend after all.
He had to leave mid-day today due to extreme fatigue and severe pain.
He did share with Hubby that his weight is below 130 - down from his usual 155.

Hubby persuaded him to take tomorrow off, and that I will go in to help out.

I would assume HO will pay me for the day, but if not I'll take it as a plus one in the Karma column.

I wanna like this more than once

Well, You can always set your security settings high and privacy on high.. so most people wont see crap of your account until you add them!!.
Still, the thing I hate mostly of facebook... is the annoying games and their automated spam.

About nine months ago, I got a friend request from a guy. Had nine mutual friends, but there wasn't much else I could tell about him other than that he was from New Jersey and his profile picture had a great six pack. Anyway...I didn't recognize the name or the profile picture, so I denied the request.

Fast forward six months, and I start wondering what happened to this friend from middle and high school. I can't find her name on FB, which is strange because she was always into FB and nagging me to get one (my parents said no FB; I got it when I turned 18 and my dad could not tell me differently anymore). So I snoop around and find her mom's FB page, which she leaves completely unprotected. I find out that the guy I got the friend request for was really her. So I managed to find out that she's now married and having her first child with her husband (her third total, keep in mind she is a year older than me but we were in the same grade) from her mom's page. Not friending that bunch of looney, though. I check into her mom's FB page every now and then. If she had messaged me (I accept messages from everyone) who she was, maybe I would have accepted. But now...nope.

Reminds me of that funny saying from the internet. "Don't stick with the crazies"
