Deer jumps off overpass and onto minivan with Mom and 4 kids.

Mom arm is injured but everyone else OK but the minivan that was not insured as they only carried liability insurance is totaled. One car finally stopped to see if they were OK.

I would have stopped.

Unless you have your own insurance policy, they will know as soon as the renewal comes in.

Some parental advice here - IF you ever get a ticket, by all means pay it, BUT a week or so afterwards, fess up, apologize, and say that you have already paid it.

If my son had done this, I would be ten-fold less ticked!
Our insurance policy is a little odd. I'm not listed on the insurance policy, but since I live at home, I'm covered. It covers anyone who lives in the house (another reason not to move out at this point...). They just have a policy that covers my car. Loophole in the contract. I would probably pay it first and fess up later. I'm a good, careful driver though. My goal is to never have a ticket, or to only have one every ten years.

I just know to pay first and tell later. Two weeks ago someone hit my back bumper and left a small dent and some paint on it when my car was in the parking lot. I know it wasn't me, and I was with a friend (who is older than me but I don't trust her behind the wheel...for...reasons) who could vouch for me. The next time I saw my parents was at our religious meeting, otherwise I would have told my mom, who would have looked and been calm (FYI, when she saw it, she believed me) and let her tell my father. Instead, my father, who is always worried that I have done something to the car, examined the car carefully, came in, whispered to my mother angrily, and then passed me a note. During the meeting. I told him it was not my fault. When we examined it after the meeting, my mom believed me and my dad was still ed. He said that I should have called after it happened. Now he has a rule about calling him at work with bad news he can't do anything about (words he said when my mom called him when she found out she was pregnant with my brother...anyway). Thankfully my mom backed me up on that one too. And then just yesterday he said, "You didn't hit anything like you did a few weeks ago, did you?":banghead:. I love my father, but the fact that he doesn't trust me when I've done nothing is quite irritating.

Of course. Wil Wheaton is evil. He lies about his Meemaw being dead to win a card game, he told a false story to win a bowling game, and he was mean to Sheldon. There's no telling what other acts of evil he has been up to.
His decision to continue acting is bad enough.
Have you seen his new program The Wil Wheaton Project on SyFy? :hungover: I made it through about five minutes and had to turn it off. Basically it's a ripoff of so many other programs that have been done before.

I only watch SyFy if they happen to be showing Star Trek, and even so, all of the series are on Netflix plus several of the movies, plus I have three of the movies. So...

They really need to put those deer crossing signs someplace else. Someplace less busy so that the deer won't cross where they could cause an accident.

There is a Podcast for WGN Radio a few years ago where a woman called in to say just that, sadly she was dead serious that the State was so wrong to have the deer cross on such a high speed road. Dear Lord.
