My favorite is Hofbrau. :hungry: Funny story, my ex had grilled us up dinner one night and asked if I wanted to share his beer. Sure. He brought a big glass with my food. Took two drinks and wanted to gag. I remember asking, what is this *×!×&$&! He laughs and says Steel Reserve. :hungover: That ranks right up there with the honey wheat beer I had in the Dominican Republic that had wheat actually in the bottle.
I'm a big fan of Dogfish Head brews. The Belgian Dark Ale is delicious. And the 120 Minute IPA is what got me on an IPA kick. And it will give you a kick, its like 20%ABV. I drank one waiting for the rest of my party to show at a restaurant (meaning empty stomach) and it hit me pretty good :hungover:.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Yesterday this storm was to start here at midnight. We have an inch hours before it was to start. So they were off already, surprise.

I knocked down some of the piles over the weekend down the 150' or so driveway. I can't reach in some areas anymore, heaps are over my shoulder and snow-blower doesn't want to throw that high. We have not had a thaw since before Christmas.

Yep this is getting old.

Based on the most recent computer models, you aren't going to school tomorrow until noon, if at all. And certainly after your college called classes on Monday, when the school district that surrounds it went on time, I suspect they will err on the side of caution. 1/4-1/2 inch of ice is serious business and the latest model runs don't have it getting above freezing until 10am. Granted, Monday did not meet expectations down your way (the 7 inches of snow I shovelled beg to differ), but I think this one is more likely to be worse than better. But, we shall see. I'll still be up at 5:30am waiting for the word!
Who know what my school will do. I don't start classes until noon anyway (ever). They called it on Monday when no one else did; they didn't call it on Jan 22 when they probably should have (no commuters went, my classes barely did anything!) and down by school, there's a freezing rain advisory, but up by me it's a winter storm warning.:grumpy: Down in Towson it's a freezing rain advisory only too.

I was thinking about you the other day when H-zone schools closed (I live in H-zone, another reason I was just as glad not to go). My mom is a substitute teacher for BCPS and kept getting calls to sub for my brother's middle school because teachers couldn't make it in, and I was thinking, "Oh, gosh, that was probably a rough commute..." It's, what, 20 minutes to work for you (?), but the roads must have been a mess:(

All beer tastes the same to me and they all smell like foot stank.

Wine is like Spring, lovely.
I gave you a like for the first sentence.
To me, wine, is equally nasty.

I haven't had a drop of alcohol in 10+ years, but the dozen or so drinks I have had in my life have all been enjoyable. Sweet, dessert-like, and no boozey taste.

Before all these designer flavoured alcohols became popular, I used to make Pina Coladas with fresh pineapple juice, coconut-flavoured rum, whipped cream; blended; then topped with heaps more whipped cream. Yummmmmm!

I have always thought that beer is disgusting. Smells horrible. Tastes even worse:hungover:. Even flavored beer is yucky.

Wine is fine. With a meal, on occasion. Depends on the wine. My mom gets this wine from SC that tastes great. Sangria is wonderful. Wine coolers are great and barely even taste like wine. I think wine is definitely an acquired taste.
