Oh my Bob. I just created the best thing in theme park history! Universal and Disney will be going all out to get us to sign with them. Let's hold a one-hour TV special at prime time to reveal which we choose. It just seems fitting.

A morning I can sleep in. No school and cozy in bed. From outside and down the hill I hear screee-screeeee-bam bam bam.... Then whir whurrrrrr and someone swearing loudly. Yep, awake now. A plow slid off the road. Maybe it has something to do with the 8" of snow last night but it is raining very hard at the moment. Awww Mother Nature....what are you doing to us.

Yep. Three inches of snow, so not too bad, but a half inch of ice now it's raining next it'll sleet then rain again so I'm gonna take some antidepressants and go back to bed I've had it with this week.

Yep. Three inches of snow, so not too bad, but a half inch of ice now it's raining next it'll sleet then rain again so I'm gonna take some antidepressants and go back to bed I've had it with this week.

Ugh.

I wish I could go back to sleep. I got my morning caffeine, my daughter got her art kit, turned on the Ghost Hunters marathon and we're camped out in my bedroom for now. Taking a nap is #1 on my todo list for the day.

It seems the roads have cleared here, but we are all staying home. Midday, I'll make a craft store run (need so e things for galentines...all my girlfriends and I exchange cute handmade stuff every year) and stop for Chinese food because nothing says snow day like running out from store to store.

By then the roads will all be fine, the kids will be at school, and all the other adults playing hooky will either be home or at the mall!

Trying to make light of the awful situation.
