Here's a recap of PUSH's morning pre-7:00. At about 5:30 the fire alarm in my room goes off. After a few beeps, it stops. I take it off the ceiling, letting it hand by the wires. There was no fire, so we were wondering weather is was carbon monoxide. But the smoke detector didn't do carbon monoxide, and our dedicated carbon monoxide detector didn't say anything. Here, as I'm trying to disconnect the wires from the alarm, a spider falls out. So we assume that's what tripped the alarm. I then went back to sleep for about 40 minutes. The end.

PS- That fire alarm really hurts your ears.

The best is when the fire alarm goes off when you're in a tall building. It's like this bizarre mix between a car alarm and a police siren.

It snowed a lot more than 3-5 inches here so no going into work. Instead it has been Skype meetings. My boss's computer has something wrong with it though because no one can see him, we just see a black screen. And he keeps wanting to show us visuals despite us not being able to see anything...

Everyone seemed to be thrown off my this storm. No plows, delays for schools were last minute (Rutgers closed a few minutes after classes went into session), work took forever to announce. I was heading out the door when I was told to stay home. Usually I get told by 7:30 at the latest.

Oh, dear. Narwhals deserve better than to be trapped inside some screen at a theme park. They probably don't even have enough space to move around! Seaworld should be ashamed of itself for letting this happen. I think I'm going to make a movie about this and entitle it Blacknarwhal.
