Woof! What a Christmas! Hope you all had a very merry one, as well! :)
Slept in for a bit Christmas Eve mornin', then did some last minute shoppin' before headin' over to my folks in the afternoon for our traditional feast, gift exchange, and white elephant gift exchange, fun, revelry, etc. The main proteins were smoked pork ribs, boiled jumbo (oxymoron ;)) shrimp, and boudin sausage. Tons of sides and desserts. Mom, pop, us 4 sibs and our 4 spouses, 11 grandkids, oldest DD's DFiance, and her BFF. Then, midnight mass.
We were then up at 7a Christmas morn and off to oldest DD's place 'cause she wanted to have our family Christmas there, this year. Back to the house for a little chill time, and then back to mom and pops for the Christmas day meal. The main proteins for this feast were Turkey, ham, pork, and caribou sausage. Yes, we (well, some of us anyway ;)) ate reindeer sausage.
After that we headed off to MILs just to say hi for a bit 'cause are actual celebration there isn't until Saturday.
Was back at the office today, which was kinda' a blowoff deal, but, I still managed to get some work done. Felt like sleepin' in and didn't even show up 'til around 10a. Only about a third of the office showed up and myself and a coworker closed the place down at about 7p-ish. I think I'm still in a bit of a food coma, 'cause except for a coupla' cookies at the office, I didn't eat anything until our pizza dinner about an hour ago. :)

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

Food coma - yep.
Four large family meals in the past 3 days has rendered me (Lord, forgive me) sick of food. Can't wait to hop on the salad and chicken train tomorrow. Not even going to wait until New Year's.

He's named after his father, but he also has 2 middle names after his 2 uncles. I thought that was pretty neat.

Cool!
I'm not named after any family members. My mother just liked the name Stephen, or derivations thereof - she told me that if I had been a girl  ;) she would have named me Stephanie.
