I had never heard of half of those sayings. I didn't notice a peenie wallie, though. I call it a firefly.
I go between calling it a lightning bug and a firefly. The peenie one just stood out for that question because that is just the weirdest thing to call anything.

I got Newark/Yonkers/Jersey City. Which makes sense since my family hails from Jersey City.

Apparently calling the night before Halloween "Mischief Night" sealed the deal for the quiz.
I've never heard the day before Halloween called anything.

I think Marry, Mary, Merry was a big one too.
I pronounce them all the same, I can't think of how they would be any different.

The only reason we gave the day before Halloween a name is because that is when kids would sneak out and teepee stuff/egg houses. Probably where you live that happens on Halloween itself.

Merry, Mary, and Marry sound really close when I say them, but with some differences.

Mary is said like: M-AIR-E
Marry is M-ARR-E
Merry is M-ERR-E

That is my poor attempt at spelling out the pronunciations. It will probably only confuse everyone.

We don't have too many egged houses or anything like that around here at all. That stuff happens during homecoming for the school district.

I say them all like M-AIR-E

I agree with you there: - Mary rhymes with hairy, Marry rhymes with Carey, and Merry rhymes with berry
