My kids wouldn't let us part with it. right now it's storing DH's firepit thing for the winter.

It's one of those really sturdy toys that are great to have when younger kids come around. We have a wooden kitchen in the playroom that serves the same purpose.

We used to have a wooden kitchen too, (in our living room) but I donated it to the church nursery when I gave up doing daycare here.

So I know TV show is not for everyone, but the Glee version of O Holy Night is amazing. I love it. O Holy Night and Christmas Canon have to be my two favorite Christmas songs.

Here's the Glee version of O Holy Night if you want to listen to it.

Instead of going back and finding things to quote, I will just make one post here.

1) To all of you who are experiencing warm weather...

2) @NYwdwfan, happy birthday to your daughter! It's my brother's 21st birthday tomorrow.

3) Update on PUSH below...

First guest arrived around 2:15, and not everyone was gone until about 8:45. We all ate, then opened presents, then stuck around a bit more. A few people bailed, then that led to a couple more bailing. Then three more bailed and it was down to my family, and my aunt, uncle, and 2 cousins. I don't know how it was decided, but somehow my dad, uncle, cousin, and I ended up going to see Anchorman 2. My review: it was stupid. There were pieces that were funny, and I was amazed by all of the celebrity appearances, but it was overall stupid, and I don't recommend it.
seems Will Ferrel can only do "stupid" movies lately :/

Ours is from the preschool where my mom used to work. It was run by the university and when it closed the school told them to take anything they wanted and donate what was left because anything still in the space was going in the dumpster.

The warm weather we have is just going to make the cold snow we will probably get next week seem so much worse.

I saw Anchorman 2 yesterday and I didn't hate it, but we came from dinner at Wild Wings so going in with some drinks in us probably helped us enjoy it. The anchorman fight though was hilarious. In the end I still wish I saw American Hustle instead though.

Spoiler, kinda.

It was just amazing to me how many celebrity cameos there were. Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Harrison Ford (though he kinda had an actual part), Vince Vaughn, Jim Carey, Liam Neeson, Will Smith, Kanye West, Drake, Sacha Baron Cohen, and some others I'm forgetting.

After all the ridiculous things Ford has done on Conan, I should not have been surprised to see him willing to show up in a movie like this, but it still surprised me. Marion Cotillard was a surprise too since I've only seen her in serious roles.

My favorite though was John C. Reilly. That whole exchange with the History Channel was hilarious.

I was surprised when Ford was in it, too. I mean, I'm not, but I am. I don't remember seeing him in those types of movies ever before. I'm just so used to him being that gutsy hero. Gotta try it all in a career I guess!

I loved the conan part; where he lures ford and bribes him with money to reveal spoilers of the new movies..
and he just says "long long ago... in a galaxy far far away...I heard they were making new ones".

You are welcome!! Once @PUSH helped me figure out how to manipulate a photo it was quite fun to create!!
What program did you use? I would never have thought you were a novice. I have an ancient version of Photoshop, that I only know the minimal basics of and would love to learn more about. A lack of patience is my excuse!
