It was a lovely day spent washing my car. It needed it; it was absolutely filthy. But it's such a chilly Memorial Day weekend. It was in the 70's most of the day but has dropped down to the 50's. Oh well. Later this week it will be hot.

I don't remember a Memorial Day weekend that's ever been sunny and warm. For years it's been rainy and crappy. It's kind of a tradition around these parts!

Exactly why I will never, ever live in Wisconsin. Normally it's in the 80's this time of year and we're outside grilling. This year, we had to bring the stuff we grilled inside. This weekend we had people over for crabs and had to eat them inside Always rains when we plan on having people over. Twice as likely to rain when we get crabs. Thankfully it's warming up this week.
