The damage from the fire. It is possible that it was arson, because two businesses (car wash and chiropractor) in a nearby town also burned down at the exact same time. Our city's fire trucks were heading to those businesses and before they could even get there, they were paged back to Culver's.

The Bears game has been delayed due to a tornado warning at the stadium. :grumpy: Weather Channel is saying a lightning warning, people at Soldier Field saying tornado warning.

Are you saying Meg is an arsonist ?!
If Meg was an arsonist there would never be any man-made fire disasters again.

Sure she might plan to burn down a building, maybe even draw up some concept artwork. But when it came time to actually go through with it, she'd balk at the prices of fire-starting materials & throw a M&G into the building instead.

The world would be a much safer place if Meg was an arsonist.

It's not just quantity of material that counts, but quality of it's substance. And we, my dear fellow Sageteer, have over-exceeded at both. People change with this thread; change for the better. They learn about the world, and learn about themselves. It's an eye-opening experience to glance across our vast array of wisdom-infested pages. Whether someone contributes frequently, or just lurks in the shadows, in the end it will occur to them that they found something by clicking on this thread of Saggage. What they find is themselves.

You can really talk some $#@%.

Being a woman over 40, I don't want to think about "Saggage". :joyfull:

Are you near... the OCEAN?
Yep, bad day for tornado's one right above my DD University, one near Bradley University central Illinois.
Two in Northern IL beyond that maybe more. They had my DD in basement for a couple hours now. Edit: they say we're up to double digit tornado touch downs.

Wearing glasses brings it out naturally.

I swear this reminds me of the TURBO movie, where the guy from the TWO HERMANOS tacos gets fake glasses to make "business"

@Gabe1 That is scary. I am glad that your daughter is okay!

Thanks. We came out of today so thankful. Our property is in pretty great shape, about 5 miles north and about 30 miles west of DD in central Illinois is kindling. Widespread power outages so we are waiting on hearing how everyone we know in the other 15 areas fared. The only blessing the state had is time, the meteorologists saw this one coming. That is why they knew they were going to Suspend the Bears game and empty the stadium.

I'm so glad you all are okay.

I don't get with that game why they didn't just delay it completely? I mean, they knew this was coming through? It's a shame they weren't playing here since the weather is better.
