Growing up my cousin's family had a house in Tampa, right on the canal, with an orange tree in the backyard. We went for a ride on their boat and it was just beautiful. I was about 8 when we visited them and thought it was the COOLEST place I had ever been. When I saw your photos I was transferred back in time - looks like a really cool place.

I got one of those wonderful notes from my daughter's school today. "Someone in your child's classroom was found to have lice." The second darn time this year. Thank God we don't have it but it makes me want to scratch my head just thinking about it.

I got one about a month ago. I've been checking my kids heads every few days ever since. I definitely get the heebie jeebies every time that note comes around.
