So about 10-15 minutes ago I was walking out of the building that my class is held in. As I'm in the hallway, I look up and see people laughing and freaking out at the end of the hallway. I then look past them through the glass doors and see that it is pouring. I walk outside and underneath the overhang just outside the door. Everyone is huddling in there and freaking out. Well, not everyone. Some people actually had umbrellas, and others just didn't care. Me, I waited for a little bit to see if it was letting up. After a bit of a wait, it was still coming down at a rapid pace (worse than some of the rains in Florida, to put it into perspective). So, I zipped up my coat, made sure all the zippers on my backpack were zipped up and headed out. I got wet.

I had Reese's and Almond Joy. And I took the remaining Twix and a handful of the rest to work. I'm having people over tomorrow so I guess I will serve them the partially eaten bag and open the other one for trick r treaters.

I just hope the rain doesn't scare them away leaving me with 2 bags of candy. Sandy canceled Halloween last year so I'm assuming the kids have gone stir crazy waiting for this year and come out in hoards. As long as the neighborhood isn't submerged in ocean water again, they should be out.

They're forecasting rain late tomorrow night here. Hopefully it will hold off until at least 9 for the Treaters. I wouldn't mind if any late night Tricking got rained out. There's always some vandalism in our neighborhood on Halloween night. Not a lot most years, but some.
