So I bought some Halloween candy that was on sale to put away for my daughter's party. Well I said I had to taste a piece. Funny after telling yourself just one piece, it's gone in a week. Next time I'm only buying candy I don't like.

I buy candy with coconut. I hate coconut. Anything with peanut butter won't last a week.

We usually buy a couple bags of candy, but don't get many trick-or-treaters since our house is kind of out of the way a bit (we are on a dead end), and we always have leftovers. Then we eat them.

One Little Spark...
I have the worst luck with Trick or Treating.

One year I'll have one or two kids...but tons of candy, the next, deciding not to buy candy, I'll get slammed.

It's so hard to predict. This year I'm not gonna buy candy (after buying 3 bags last year and only having 1 group of kids (my neighbors kids) show up...

Watch, it will be like 2010, when I got slammed and had no candy (because in 2009 I had no turn out) and was giving out microwave popcorn bags (unpopped of course), whole full size hershey bars (for cooking with) and the dreaded fruit! Really, all I as doing was raiding my pantry. :p

The last kid of the evening got an unopened bag of restaurant style tostidos.

Hey, at least I had interesting things! :p

Unfortunately the only candy I don't like is the kind trick'r'treaters would hate me for. I wait until a few days before to buy the candy candy for that purpose. Was also handy last year since Halloween never happened so I didn't waste money on 4 bags of candy.

When I lived closer to Madison, the people across the street from me gave out fruit and snack-size bags of chips every year. Like what child is seriously going to take the fruit?

I don't like chocolate and will only eat it with peanut butter or coconut. :hungry:
You see, I like chocolate but won't eat it with coconut or peanut butter.

That's right - I don't care for coconut or peanut butter. Don't hurt me, please.
