(Playing "Hail to the Chief")Sorry. I got busy with stupid stuff (homework). I need to prepare something!
Or 9999Nobody take 10,000. I'm actually preparing something.
I did that as well. My daughter(s) quality toys were saved for grandkids. When the first three were at the right age I used to break them out to play with. They loved all the "old" stuff. When they outgrew them I still kept them. In 2000 I had to move out of our old house with a basement that was absolutely full. My Ex had only taken a few things like clothes and a computer and a couple of pieces of furniture from her parents household and left me with everything else. I had to downsize and sell the house (split division via divorce) and then moved into a pretty good sized mobile home considering it was just me. I had to part with tons of stuff and what family and friends didn't want, hit a giant dumpster. It was after that the little kids got old enough to play with the toys. When I decided to move to North Carolina to a two bedroom apartment, I had to downsize even further. I had all kinds of tools that my father had left behind and many, many things that cost me a lot of money at some point to be able to fit into my new place. At that time I boxed up those toys and sent them to their original owners to be save, I assumed for their grandchildren. Turns out that one of them had another baby after we had all moved to NC. She is going to be 2 in December and there they are out and being used once more. I am so glad that I didn't just give them away to strangers.I saved a lot of the Fisher-Price toys my kids had growing up. I figure I'll play with them if we don't have grandchildren some day!
NOOOOO!only one more !!
