This concept is so foreign to me. I have 5 gamestops within 15 minutes of my house. 2 Targets. 3 Walmarts. Such is life on the heavily populated island of Long. :D
I have one Walmart. That's actually considered the hang out place in town. When kids are bored they'll go to Walmart sometimes. A few weeks back I went to Walmart at like 10PM with my friend. Exciting stuff. :p

There are game stops by me in strips malls that are almost empty besides the game stop and a grocery store. Like we don't need this many Game Stops in a square mile.

I'm sadly on a business trip so I can't play my GTA V until Saturday also. Maybe. Idk if it actually arrived at my house yet or my gf stole it and took it home with her. The anticipation is killing me though.

I swear I checked this thread in the middle of the day and didn't see half the posts that I see now. On a similar note, I didn't get any alerts for this thread. So I shook my Magic 8 ball to see why that was. Here's what I got:

I ride a bicycle most days, not the company car. So, yeah. I'm right outside the perimeter in Atlanta. The only issue we have (that I LOVED about NYC) is that we have cruddy public transit...

I didn't get any notifications today either, even though people were posting. Meg is trying to exclude us.

Speaking of Meg, here's a brief update on my novel: The Blaming. I'm currently stuck with writer's block. I've gotten the first word of the first chapter completed: ("Once"), but after that I'm stumped. I've got some neat ideas in mind for Chapter 7, which will involve Harrison Ford and a mistaken order at a fast food drive-thru. More details to come later. Just be assured, I will have this novel completed and on time for late October release as planned. Thanks to those of you who have already purchased!

p.s. There will be A LOT of blaming in this novel.

Could, "...upon a time" work as the next 3 words of the 1st chapter? I can be a ghost writer if needed. If you need anymore help I'll just be in the Haunted Mansion's library.

"Where's my family meal?!" *points forcefully at server*

^I like where you're going with this. It has a catchy ring to it, and flows on paper well. Though my one concern with beginning my novel with "Once upon a time" is that it could lighten the mood; making it have almost a children's fantasy tone. That is certainly not the direction I want to take with this novel, considering the story is horror.

Actually, horror is a little too dark, so I might throw in some romance. It'll be a horror romance novel. Though this may turn off some of my more family-friendly readers whose tastes desire something more lighthearted. Thus I will probably include an underlying comedy theme, making it a horror romance comedy novel. But of course there will be a serious message to get across, as well as portraying instances in the lives of real people (Meg Crofton, Harrison Ford, & Engelbert Humperdinck to name a few). So when it comes down to it, my novel will mostly be categorized as a drama comedy horror romance non-fiction fantasy. So on second thought, I suppose "Once upon a time" is an ideal way to start.

I've got my genre, I've got three of my characters, I've got my title, and I've gotten my first four words! Despite lacking a plot, I'd say this novel is off to a smooth start.

Just to kick start the creative process I will volunteer the second word. The word "again" should get you headed in the right direction. You can thank me later.

You can start the book with the 1st page being light hearted. Reader gets a false sense of security, then BOOM! Meg shows up and the blaming begins. Nothing is the same after she appears.

I don't know why I thought you were one of our college aged participants. This surprised me!
