No, even though we did have to give essay questions in math. I'd take off points for spelling and punctuation errors, and , my favorite, not putting their name on the paper. Then there were the kids that thought that using just their first name, or nickname, would be OK. Nope, not in my class!

Please please please don't take away my trophy points just because I signed up as Zweiland instead of Zweilandifericus A. Macmillian!

Bravo...there is nothing worse than getting a business email with misspellings and text-speak. I just can't take them seriously.

That's why sometimes I can be a grammar Nazi...what you do on your time off reflects highly on your professionalism at work. It will shine through.

It's all about upbringing and practice...Do it right every time and you won't be apt to screw up on the job.

Exactly! And I really feel like we're doing kids a great disservice if we don't set high standards for them.
