Yep, that was my thought when I saw it. It is twisting of the arm with many of these shows now as there are so many reserved sections for either dessert parties or special events for corporations etc. that it is becoming difficult to see the shows that come free with admission.

And you are right, many people will pay so Disney will keep creating them. My DH and I wrestled with the first Halloween party moons ago. They closed the park completely and then reopened at 7pm. It was $15 each. $60 dollars more for our family. We wrestled with the $15 extra hours band they use to sell too, usually way back then my DH and DS would stay and DD and I would go back to the resort, she was little and just wanted to go to sleep.

At least the extra hours bands were not expensive. I bought those a number of times, and they were well worth the price to hang out at MK, with much lighter crowds and ride all the big attractions with minimal waiting. I felt as though the cost (again, reasonable to begin with) really gave you a perk that had definite value.

I have two high top teak, wide seat/armed with a high back bar chairs with a table that sits outside my kitchen window. It was an expensive gift given to my DH and me for our 25th wedding anniversary.

I was coming home one day when my DH was teaching my DD to parallel park my truck out on the road between my two teak chairs! He wanted her to be able to see the space over the bed of the truck.

I never tried to parallel park though I can parallel park if more than 2 car lengths are between me and the other car.

To get my CDL, I had to parallel Park a 42 foot bus. Got it first try. Then I went out for the full road test and didn't make it because I had accidentally exceeded the speed limit by 10 miles per hour in an area I wasn't familiar with and hadn't seen the limit sign. Had to take the road test again, but this time I didn't need to redo the parking part.

Very good. We are actually getting ready to sell our house, and it looks like we may be moving to Charlotte. My husband has a job opportunity there. I lived in Charlotte for a year after my first marriage ended (long story), and I really like it there. Maryland has never really felt like home. I grew up in Ohio, and I'm very comfortable in the Midwest. Everyone in Charlotte moved from the Midwest to escape the weather, so I fit in well there.

Some of them really are awful, based upon my own experience. However, not all of them are. Resist the urge to write them off so quickly; different ones get in different job leads, and it's about timing and luck. If they never placed anyone, they'd all be out of business. Just a thought . . .

My neighbor is a head hunter. She's placed quite a few family friends in positions. She's extremely arrogant and thinks she knows everything, but when it comes to jobs, she's usually right. I know you say you don't trust them, but if you find one and expect that he/she will be an arrogant, know-it-all, pain in the you know what, they may be able to help you.
