Thanks for asking. The new job is awesome! Yes, I took a few thousand dollar pay cut and am working about 10 more hours a week - and it is well worth it! Being at a school (and in a system) where music is considered valuable and important and the PR machine is not more important than the kids actual education is priceless.

The increased time commitment is why I have been absent from the thraed for the past month. But, I wouldn't trade back to where I was for anything at this point.

So happy to hear it is going well. It is annoying when the students are the after thought isn't it?

I still have a book from circa 1970 called "Frog Fables and Beaver Tales" which makes fun of the whole situation.
Speaking of separations.. arent the Texans the same? every year I heard about them calling for a "Secession vote" because "things are too liberal" with the USA.
I giggle every time I see it on the news!

What I had for dinner tonight... :hungry:

boooooo for you then!

Anyway, I just had some fried banana chips! :hungry:

I want to eat lightly now, because I have to shed the 5-10 kilos I got due of the unlimited food at the Disney Cruise Line.

Speaking of food.
I had finally a proper burger in a local bar next to the hotel I was staying in the last day at Vancouver.
It was absolutely fantastic!. First time I eat a burger with so little ketchup and spices (I usually always add Jalapeños). :hungry::hungry::hungry:
unfortunately, did not take a photo of it (had no phone nor camera in hand)

it was called "the shark burger".

Hmmm...
Yea, I'm not for secession, but, gonna' hafta' tip-toe a bit here...
Let's just say, for sheer simplicities sake, I don't give a rats what consenting adults do with each other. To each their own.
On the flip side, stealing my hard-earned money at the threat of jail time by a jacked-up 37-armed octopus Big Brother, I do have a problem with.
And, for any of you out there that don't feel you're "contributing" enough, the IRS accepts checks for whatever amount any of you guilty folks wanna' write them for.
You brought it up, dude.

And, I need NO sauce on something that naturally delectable. :hungry:
