Oh my. What do you think Canada is like?

Canada and Texas, respectively, apparently... o_O

Oh my. What do you think Canada is like?

I picture spickets pounded into every maple tree and a galvanized bucket beneath. A land that has moose wandering around like our deer. Men with a rifles over the red and black plaid shoulders of half the real men and tan carhartt jeans. Nice racoon tail hats and beaver tail pastry and amazing proper Poutine served along side a Molson Golden in a big huge mug. ;)

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

Ok, let's count Canadian stereotypes, shall we?

- beer
- lumberjacks
- beaver
- snowshoe
- lacrosse
- donuts
- igloo
- hockey
- Canada goose
- maple syrup
- touque
- canoe
- Canadian flag

Yup, got most of the bases covered.
Glaringly obvious in their absence:
- Mounties
- poutine
- Timmie's

Yes, I would like that fish on the plate behind the tacos! (I can also bring to the feast my homemade turkey chili, which is in the crockpot as I type this. It will be ready at 7 p.m. (Eastern). I wonder if I'll have enough time to put it in a travel container at 7, and then make it on time for dinner at your house? ;)
We had chili too! Not turkey though. My mom gave me tomatoes that needed used up so chili was on the menu. :hungry:

I hope you realize I was just bein' silly about both of us, my friend, thus the o_O
I googled both Canadian and Texas stereotype images. I couldn't believe there was actually not a sillier Texas one that I found on first search...?!?! We are so ripe for those, and love 'em...!!! :) ;)

When we have our Sageteer reunion @ WDW, our first stop will have to be at O Canada in Epcot, 'cause y'all have no idea what Canada is like.

Our second stop, of course, will be for Dole Whips @ MK.

We're in! Although, we've been there many times before, we've never been there with a real Canadian as our guide!!! ;) :)

And, we're ALL in for the second stop, as well...! :hungry: :)

Yes, it was just a mission outpost and never meant to be any kinda' cathedral, that's for sure. That being said, it's still very cool and just another important part of our overall American heritage. :)

Also, here's a pic I meant to post last night that shows just how much in the middle of the downtown SA hustle and bustle the Alamo is... :)
