Soooooo - I made ADRs for my not yet planned February trip. I didn't tell anyone in my family yet - just started hinting that February would be a good time - over a year from our last trip but not quite waiting 2 years. When I told hubby he said "let's just go in November again". Me thinks he's been sprinkled with a bit of pixie dust!! So my question is...do you think the weather will be THAT much colder in February? I am a bit nervous. I'm not worried about the lack of anything "special" going on (food & wine, holidays, etc.) as I think it would be nice to see the parks in their natural state. Just worried about the weather - we were there in the cold snap in December a few years back when it was 30s and I was MISERABLE.

I go in January and/or February every year. The weather, in a word, is unpredictable. I've been when it's been 80 and I've been when it's in the 30's. This year when I was there (actually, here, I'm in WDW) it was in the 60's and 70's quite lovely but then it was in the 40's according to people here a few weeks later.

So can anyone spare me wasting any MORE time weeding through 74's threads to see when Imagination is rumored to be getting shuttered for refurb? Yeah it's a crap ride but my 7 year old LOVES it.

30s in Florida isn't normal, at least as far as I know. February is a great time for crowds, although rides may be down for refurbs. I'd take 30s in February, though. Better than the 10 degrees we get here! But then again I'm not outside roaming a theme park, either.

So after that, I wasn't much help. But good luck! :)
Until the last 10 years almost all my trips to WDW have been around the last week in February. I have run into one day that was very chilly, mostly because of wind chill, but mostly it started out cool in the morning (frost on the cars) and by after 12 noon air conditioning was required. Not the rainy season that I have found and usually very sunny. Yes, it can be cold, but so can November if the trade winds are not working in your favor. During that time I can't remember a single attraction down for refurb. Usually one or the other of the two water parks will be closed for that purpose during that time. The beginning of March starts the spring break time so they try to have everything ready.

Thanks!! My dad's parents lived in Florida and his mom used to say "everything gets better in February". We shall see, I suppose!

PUSH is picking because it's his anniversary and we didn't buy him any presents even though yesterday was my wedding anniversary and he didn't buy me anything either, but it's OK - I don't mind, I know who my real friends are....
I meant to say happy anniversary yesterday, but I forgot! I'm not kidding either. So happy day after anniversary Nemo!

And I don't care what the theme is, you guys pick. I'm just Geoff the sidekick, I don't make decisions.
