Yeah it was definitely not normal - but it was BRUTAL. 30s were the highs - when we set out for the parks it was 20s. We wore tank top, t shirt, long sleeve shirt, hooded sweatshirt and then a jacket with hats and gloves and were STILL cold. That kind of crazy weather has me scared!!! Thinking back, we knew about 2 weeks before that it was going to be BAD - if that happens again I would postpone the trip.

It would've been worse with a heavy snowfall. Imagine Disney World covered in a heavy blanket of snow. That'd actually be interesting to see. I wouldn't want to vacation like that, though.

Probably it will probably be in the 60s, but dropping into the 50s at night. Which is going to beat NY weather at the same time of year.

One Little Spark...
By the way @englanddg love your new avatar! :)

Dolphins are like narwhals! Kind of!
She had a blast, that's from the CD...I'm waiting on the DVD video to process (yeah, they used some codec that I have to translate so I can use it...oh well)....

Heck, we had a blast!

I loved that pic! That was when she got over the 20 foot deep water and after that, I couldn't keep her out of the pool!

Only reason I haven't updated the trip report is that I'm being very thorough about legoland, since it's not often reported and I wanted it to be clear for those planning trips out there. Fri/Sat/Sun are done already! Sitting in MS Notepad waiting for posting...

:p

They had the poinsettias and other winter flower decorations covered with white tarps - not really snow but had the same effect from a distance when I wasn't wearing my glasses.

Soooooo - I made ADRs for my not yet planned February trip. I didn't tell anyone in my family yet - just started hinting that February would be a good time - over a year from our last trip but not quite waiting 2 years. When I told hubby he said "let's just go in November again". Me thinks he's been sprinkled with a bit of pixie dust!! So my question is...do you think the weather will be THAT much colder in February? I am a bit nervous. I'm not worried about the lack of anything "special" going on (food & wine, holidays, etc.) as I think it would be nice to see the parks in their natural state. Just worried about the weather - we were there in the cold snap in December a few years back when it was 30s and I was MISERABLE.

Last February the weather was delicious in FL!
