I wish people understood that not everyone who rents owns a cat eating floor pooping rotti who will chew walls and destroy carpeting. But apparently everyone does. Especially apartment buildings here... its ridiculous. $500 nonrefundable deposit? I'm just going to GIVE you $500... per animal... to "allow" my animals to live with me. And you're not even feeding them! :( Makes me so mad.

My dog and cat are my babies. Do these some aye holes charge a baby fee? They make more mess than my two do.
I agree. If your animals are well behaved but unfortunately the landlord needs to ensure for those tenants who have animals that are not.

traffic = :mad:

Although I did pass by a car with a huge decal on it advertising "Hip Hop Catz" - an animated website with rapping cats that is geared towards educating children. The names of the catz were hilarious, as was the animation, and it was definitely worth the extra 2 hours on the drive home. :banghead:
40 mph speed limit on the Garden State Parkway. Which means people either going 40 or 80 on narrow lanes with no shoulder. I get really paranoid when the barriers are right up against the lane. Plus it jumps between 2 and 4 lanes, then splits in half randomly so you have to be on the correct side if your exit is coming up. I think driving is more organized in the Mad Max movies.

My dog's mess when I leave can be fixed with a thorough vacuuming and scrubbing a spot on a wall clean. I have no pet fees beyond the one to register her with the town. My landlord is a distant cousin and this was his first renting property experience so I got away from being ripped off. So learning about them for the next place has been a new headache for me.

It would have been good if I had remembered where I packed it. But yeah, I did not forget it! I'm still a ditz, though.

I so glad you found your inhaler. Speaking from past experiences, probably every trip I've ever taken, there's always something that I forgot, or more likely—I just can't find it in all the tightly packed articles in the suitcase or carry-on bag. You don't realize all the little nooks and cubbyholes there are in your luggage, until something is missing—only to find it when you get home, and it's right there in a zippered compartment of your bag!! :facepalm:

Roads in NJ are a nightmare to navigate when there is NO construction. With construction they are virtually undrivable.

I have a feeling I was just tagged to do one of those ice water challenges on Facebook...

What is this?
