My sister still lives on the family farm with her horses (and other livestock) but I don't think I've seen a pretty sunset like that there growing up there.

Wow!! You grew up on a real farm with horses and other livestock? That must have been exciting to go see the horses and other animals every morning!! I'd love that. I grew up in the suburbs (boring . . . .). (Note: My mother always said that I'd make a good farmer's wife, because I liked early morning and loved animals. )

These are great!!! You have impeccable taste in your design selection, of these elegant mugs. :joyfull:

Giggle. Soon I will show you a sampling of my dinner plates.

I use to have drinking and juice glasses but they've bit the dust. I'm hard pressed to pay $12 a glass these days and unfortunately most of Disney glassware is no longer dishwasher safe, as I sadly found out. I didn't peal off the price tag and reveal hand wash disclaimer.

I have very few Disney items in my home displayed but open the cupboards and you will discover my inner hoarder.

Yes, their prices are ridiculous! And, I've heard many people were disappointed to find out that (at least some) of their glassware is not dishwasher safe. You've got to be kidding me, when they charge $12 for a glass!!

I like the mug display in your open cupboards, and especially like that you put the Minnie mug right in front!

Okay, we know I'm lazy, but turns out I'm even cheaper.

While picking up cream, I saw store baked apple pies were being featured, and grabbed one for Hubby.
As I'm carrying it in the house, the improperly sealed flap opens, the pie slides out, and lands upside down in a huge mush on the carpet.

Cheapo here, scoops it up, piles it back in the tin, slides it back in the box, and takes it back to the grocery store to exchange it.

Total time involved - 15 minutes plus.
Cost of the pie - $5.99.
Value of my time - apparently nil!
Plus, I don't even like pie!

Thank you! It is not an open cupboard though, well technically it is cause I opened the doors to take the photo.

My DD and I each got a baby sip cup to pour our adult beverage, Dad's Electric Lemonade around the park. We were also surprised that a baby cup could not go into the dishwasher.

Too funny.

Son #2 has my really bad cough. Last night, we both took a night-time cough syrup, as we were both hacking up a lung. I slept like a baby. Apparently, his cough also subsided enough that he was able to sleep.

Medicine has since worn off. I am coughing; but not ridiculously. He is coughing; as bad, if not worse than last night. So, I just offered him some day-time cough medicine.

He declined, saying, (I kid you not), "I don't like drugs".

(Marijuana, of course, is medicine.)

What's the design on your thumb nail?

I got about 3 or 3.5 hours of sleep last night. I've tried taking a nap twice since getting off work, but both times I've been woken up within 10 minutes. This is why I need my own place. :grumpy:

But if memory serves me correctly, anything especially a home is substantially quieter than any housing or apartments near a University. Sooo many different things to wake ya up and repeat.

Upside though if you pick housing and can relate well to your peers you could be an RA and get room and board free.

Not to sound rude here, but could you edit your post and remove the link please? I don't care if you guys know where I go, but I'd prefer it not to be out for the entire forums and whatnot to see. Thanks!

I was not allowed to have pets growing up. My Mom told me to go live on a farm, that is where animals live not the suburbs. My horse was an hour north of us on a family friends farm on the boarder of Wisconsin. Her name was Shoshanie. She was white with big light brown splotches. Good times. Good horse.
