My DD friend spent a year in CostaRica studying, she graduated college a year ago in May, Biked the USA for U of I and moved to Oakland to take her first real people job. On Monday she landed in Austin job number 2. An interesting life she has led the last few years.
In other news... Justin Bieber coughed last night. Is it a sign of a bigger problem? We'll examine tonight on ET.OK since I am too busy to leave chit chat I am not sure if there is a thread on this but it needed to be shared:

Justin Bieber + wheelchair + Disneyland = I get to cut to the front of the line! Or at least that's how it looks.
Justin was at the happiest place on earth in Anaheim Sunday and posed with a fan while in a wheelchair. The girl posted the photo with the caption ... "I love how he just pretended to be a normal person on a wheelchair."
Of course, the immediate reaction online was that Justin was a line scofflaw ... but Justin's camp tells TMZ that wasn't the case. We're told Bieber was nursing a knee injury from basketball and only sat in the wheelchair to rest for a few moments.
Even more interesting ... we're told Justin wouldn't need the wheelchair to cut lines, because Disney already escorts him in and out of rides to avoid huge crowds gathering when he's in the park.
My dream family room.
Yeah, I doubt he needs a wheelchair to cut lines.OK since I am too busy to leave chit chat I am not sure if there is a thread on this but it needed to be shared:

Well, talking to my mom, playing the Wii, and watching baseball has not helped me feel any better about that odd-looking mole. Weird, I wasn't worried about it and thought I was crazy until the doctor said that he was concerned about it too. I keep telling myself all the good things, that no one in my family has a history of skin cancer, that the mole wasn't deep so even if it was cancerous, it's probably all gone now, but it doesn't make me feel any better. Really wish I were in school so that I could go talk to someone a little more about it and probably a counselor to help me work through the fear of it all. Probably also has something to do with the fact that my grandmother died of cancer. But since I'm not and since I have absolutely no time to go down to school, it's a waiting game, one that I'm very bad at.

While I agree, and a boycott would be a tragedy for the athletes involved, the Olympics are nothing but a political venture, starting from the selection process riddled with bribery and scandal.
Hosting the Olympics padded Putin's pockets and boosted his ego. Dude didn't even wait for the Paralympics to start before invading a foreign sovereign nation.
The Olympics survived the 1980 and subsequent 1984 boycotts. They would have survived this one too.
Sometimes you have to draw a line in the sand.
