Ah HR nonsense. I called a guy, perfectly nice, on a recruiting phone call. Except for when he said, "I need to be making at least $200,000 per year to support myself." o_O You could very well be making that here in a few years, you'll probably start out at $150,000 per year if you become a sales manager, but instead you choose to be unemployed and making nothing.
I don't know what kind of expenses he has in his life, but I don't think anyone needs $200,000/year salary to support themselves. But then again that may just be me.

Why, that's all I can ask is why get that. Although I've seen a lot of tattooes, I can say I've never seen those.

Yep, I have no clue, and I've never seen anything like those before either.
DWifey and myself currently have 0 tats and, at our age, are not likely to ever get any.
Although, we did once seriously entertain the thought of gettin' matching "Hidden Mickey's"...!!! :joyfull: ;) :)

I think the weekend theme appropriate solution is this

Pardon my ignorance, but how do you drink this?
Shots? Over ice? Surely not with mix?

I bombed my interview today. Really, really bad.

I've had a very high stress/high anxiety day where no levels of anxiety meds have helped. I cried at lunchtime with my friend and had a bad night last night with the roommate/ex boyfriend.

I'm quite miserable and I don't expect any sympathies or anything from you guys...I'm just not in a good way today, and need to tell someone. Besides my mom, who's at the end of her rope worried about me.

I'm sorry.

I'm gonna go find me a nice piggie for my avatar and hope this dark cloud passes over me soon.

So very sorry you had a carppy day. :(
But, remember...

While DD will be open to working at any good University she has 3 dreams for the beginning of her career years.
UFC, U of I and UofTexas-Austin so she can also do her grad degree at the same time. The dream for a Grad degree is Texas-Austin 'cause their Grad degrees carry so much weight. She wonders if she could adjust to the heat.

Who knows for sure on the heat part, but, most from up north seem to get pretty used to it over time, plus there's air conditioning aplenty down here.
This summer, especially, has been unseasonably cool. It got up to 101 0n Mon. (first 100 degree day this year), 92 Tues., 95 yesterday, and only 89 today. Also, when I left the office a little after 9p tonight, it rained like crazy all the way home and up until about an hour ago, so it's only about 77 right now, but, of course, humid as heck.

Stay safe...

;)

And remember...don't shoot any bottles rocket's out of the car...! :D ;) :)
This time the fireworks are taking place at a different location than the bonfire, so we shouldn't have any mishaps with throwing fireworks in the fire. Just to be safe we've made it a rule that the only people who are cleaning up are the ones who light them off and the people who are down near them. The ones who are a ways away watching aren't going to be allowed near them.

That was how he put it. Not, "With my experience, I qualify for positions at the executive level." Not, "I've already looked at other jobs different from this one." No. It was,"I need $200,000 per year and that's what I was making." Um, great. Meanwhile, you're unemployed and making zilch. Meanwhile, if you had the experience to become an executive sales manger, you'd start out making, mmm, around $100,000 and if you work hard at it year after year, that number will increase. But of course I can't say that. I'm not allowed to discuss compensation over the phone.

I must really be out of patience tonight.

Cannot for the life of me figure out how to download youtube videos onto my iPhone, using the app "Download Lite".

Of course, I refuse to jailbreak my iPhone, so I am stuck in a web of useless tutorials, posted by 15 year olds.

Not sure if the fault lies with me, or them. I suspect the former.

Anyway, I give up for tonight, and am headed to bed early for a change.

I have a long day scheduled for tomorrow.

Taking the GO train to TO with Hubby and his brother and wife. Going to spend some time downtown (which means sitting in a pub drinking for a few hours - oh yay!), grab some dinner, and then head to the Skydome (okay, Rogers Centre) to watch the Jays battle the Rangers.

Time to start re-gaining some ground on those Orioles.
