I never noticed how only one side was shown. Good thing the iceberg hit on that side!
Speaking of icebergs, this one looks like Batman!

That's okay, I'll feed you the lines.

So, now we have our Jack.
I call dibs on Rose. Young Rose.

Now we need a Cal, an old Rose, her Momma, a Trudy, a captain, a Molly Brown, and my favourite, Thomas Andrews. Fight amongst yourselves.

If it's all the same to everyone else, I'm just gonna' do the road trip and play the part of Ricky Ricardo...! ;)

Early this afternoon, I read a story about this on Reuters. It does appear as though the LIRR, and the union representatives (note: there are 5,400 unionized workers) have reached an impasse about a new contract. Strike date is set for July 20. That could leave 300,000 daily commuters in a bad way. I hope for you and others that use the LIRR, that if they strike, it turns out to be more (along the lines of a Wildcat), of just one day, and they go back to work, while continuing to try and compromise with one another, and settle out a new contract.

I don't live in NY, but I can empathize with your angst over this, as I also rely on public transportation (trains and buses) in my city, to get to work every day.

Thankfully for me it probably won't impact me much - other than messing up a shopping day! I work from 9:30 on central Long Island so anyone commuting to the city should be WELL past me by the time I get on the roads.

Hey, I said by rail, I don't do road trips, we can see how many of us we can stuff into our sleeper suite.

I call top bunk!

I release the past, cooperate fully with today and enthusiastically embrace the future.

Off to buy flip flops (dress shoes have destroyed my heels) for the walk across town to interview number one!

GOOD LUCK!!!

If they ask you for your strengths and weaknesses - I always choose "attention to detail" as both (I can get caught up in the details sometimes). It can be a weakness without being bad.

Oh that sounds heavenly! I'm jealous . . . it's muggy here. (By the way, why am I the only one who gave a "like" to your post?)

I am not ready for fall. Fall brings snow as Winter does not start until late December. I don't want to be sweaty and we will get 90's next week which is too warm for me but I don't have to shovel it. This winter is still to fresh in my memories.
