Had a great BBQ today, watched the race, took a NAP........what a nice Sunday.
No photos of your BBQ? :O

In other news, my mother and I decided to buy new AC units last friday... as the ones we have are falling apart.
These MIRAGE units are really AWFUL (lots of failures, even after "extensive repairs" they failed within months)
the Unit I use ( the most used obviously) its all falling, the fin radiator completely freezes constantly, the wind guide doesn't work, the sensor temp sensor doesnt work very well, the housing is broken thanks to the maintenance guys "fixing it" and the display falls down constantly and hangs with a cable.
So Mother was recommended by a friend, to buy these new "Inverters" that keep the temps more constant and save energy. They were on 20% discount and monthly instalments in a local store (akin to Macy's in the US )

hopefully I will have a better AC units soon (in time because its starting to get hot over here!)

Housekeeper....:joyfull::hilarious::joyfull:....yeah, in my dreams I might be able to afford one.

I refuse to pay anyone to do something I can do myself for far less money. Cleaning, coloring my hair, painting my nails and washing my car are all on that list. I feel all happy with myself when I finish a task and realize I saved myself some money. Often the savings go straight to the "Disney" fund.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I believe it is. I think that I once read that @JenniferS gets all sweaty watching the housekeeper work. Not to mention how it interrupts some much needed naps. ;)
Oh my gosh, you make me sound so shallow.

I already told you I don't sweat. Not effectively anyway.
I truly do not sweat to the degree that regular people do, and therefore just get overheated, turn a hideous shade of purple, and occasionally pass out. I have to be very careful about overdoing it in extreme heat, or spending more than 20 minutes in the hot tub.

And, naps are good for everyone. Don't you forget it!

So my dog's ridiculous shedding is just her way of helping me on days I don't get to the gym. She is so considerate.

It was a brutal winter and they all grew additional undercoat that they hung onto a month or so longer than they should have. Note the picture of Walt today being groomed. He was scrubbed and blown dried with a dryer that has a force of 248 CFM. Now if you don't want to pay $500 for a dog dryer, I highly recommend a trip to the groomer once a season when they shed the worst. The $50-$60 dollars is worth the ridding yourself and home being covered in fur. They will blow it all out in one visit. And don't forget to tip the groomer.
